What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at DELAWARE RESOURCE GROUP OF OKLAHOMA?
The recruiter will be responsible for calling and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This individual will assist with a wide range of administrative and operational recruiting tasks, including applicant tracking, candidate communication, generating offer letters, and maintaining accurate records.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming applicant and candidate phone calls.
- Assist with applicant tracking by maintaining and updating records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and upcoming hiring needs
- Maintain organized and compliant documentation on candidates, communications, and recruiting activity.
- Foster and maintain relationships with external organizations, schools, and training institutions to support ongoing recruitment efforts.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions, upholding the values and image of DRG.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with candidates and team members over the phone and by email.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office products to include Teams).
- Professional demeanor and a team-oriented attitude.
