What will you do?
- Perform preventive maintenance on water softeners and manage salt inventory to ensure proper operation in assigned areas
- Handle work orders and call-outs independently while coordinating additional trade support as needed
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job requirements and direction
- Complete advanced maintenance and repair tasks aligned with preventive maintenance programs
- Carry out carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep to maintain property condition
- Report maintenance issues accurately to ensure timely resolution by appropriately skilled trades
- Follow safety, risk management, and environmental standards while supporting the training and development of maintenance team members
- Valid drivers license required
More about you
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general building maintenance or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing
- Advanced knowledge of general building maintenance, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
- No high school diploma or GED required
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle in inclement weather
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Physical requirements
- Wear all required personal protective equipment needed to carry out assigned tasks safely.
- Ability to enter into and work in confined and crawlspaces.
- Will climb and descend ladders repeatedly while supporting tools and equipment.
- Walking, bending, squatting, reaching, pulling with ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity in the use of hands to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, sun, wind, rain and snow.
