The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a full-time HVAC Technician to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As an HVAC Technician, you will monitor performance of electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, building repair maintenance systems. This role requires candidates to be in current possession of an HVAC license.

What will you do?
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, install, replace, or repair damaged equipment, and calibrate thermostatic controls.
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems; repair and replace damaged or worn heating
- Inspect and observe pressure of liquids and vapor with HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation of units
- Requires valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company vehicle in inclement weather.
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of five years’ experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration
- An HVAC license is required
- Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles, when required
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift at least 70 lbs frequently
- Ability to work at various heights, including frequent use of a ladder
