Position Overview
Defined Fitness is seeking a driven and creative Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead the charge and tell our story across all digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for content creation, social media management, event marketing, and digital campaigns that strengthen our brand and drive engagement. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Amplify Defined Fitness brand across digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and our internal communications platform
- Create/manage compelling content (photos, videos, graphics, copy) for web, email, social media, digital ads, and Defined Fitness app
- Develop and execute digital marketing calendars and strategies aligned with organizational goal
- Plan, promote, and execute events that enhance member engagement and brand visibility
- Manage social media accounts, respond to messages and comments, and foster active online communities
- Oversee digital advertising campaigns and develop creative, monitor performance to optimize ROI
- Track and report KPIs, engagement, traffic, SEO, conversions, app downloads, and campaign effectiveness
- Manage website content updates through a CMS and ensure SEO best practices are implemented
- Build and launch email and SMS campaigns that connect with current and potential members
- Monitor and manage online brand reputation across review platforms (Google, Yelp, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Support marketing initiatives with print, digital, and in-club collateral development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in business-to-business sales, corporate outreach, or digital marketing
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to meet and exceed goals, manage time effectively, prioritize leads, and work independently
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products such as Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Premiere with proficiency in social media platforms and digital tools including Meta Business Suite, Meta Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and CRM platforms (e.g., Gym Sales)
- Must hold a valid NM driver’s license (acceptable record) and means of transportation (registered and insured)
- Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, onsite or remotely, as business needs require
- Operational knowledge of videography and photography equipment, content creation, campaign planning, and event execution
- Self-starter with strong creative instincts and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 25 pounds
- Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, crouch, stoop, stand, listen, read and write
