What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROGRAM ANALYST (SECURITY COOPERATION) position at Defense Security Cooperation Agency?
This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for ensures that strategies and plans support field service issues consistent with strategic and theater guidance and objectives and identify appropriate managed resources to meet strategic and country-level staffing requirements for global MILGP offices.
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Qualifications:
You may qualify at the GS-13 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
- Conducting continuous analysis, planning, support, and improvement activities to ensure that personnel and their dependents assigned to global MILGP offices are properly supported.
- Leading routine interagency coordination across a broad range of global field service issues supporting employees and their families to include JTR / DoD-wide policy adjustments, tour length reviews, foreign aircraft requests, dependent education, exceptional family member program advocacy, TRICARE, expedited naturalization, special travel authorizations, field support services, medical travel, and ordered and authorized evacuations
