This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS 12 grade level in the Federal service:
- Performing complex classification reviews and advisory services.
- Developing evaluation statements in order to defend final classification determinations.
- Conducting desk audits and developing agency policy and guidance on classification procedures.
Responsibilities:
As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) at the GS-0201-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:- Evaluate position management in DSCA organizations and satellite offices and provides assistance to supervisors and operating officials on ways to improve structure, work distribution, and the use of employee skills.
- Serve as a full participant in developing, evaluating, improving, issuing, and implementing agency classification and position management regulations, policies, procedures, and other guidance having agency- wide usage and impact.
- Develop, analyze, and classify complex individual and agency-wide position descriptions.
- Conduct position management surveys and studies for assigned organizations.
- Provide authoritative advice and assistance to senior management officials in advance of major reorganizations or significant functional changes.
