Deep River Animal Hospital is seeking a full time or a part time, Veterinary Receptionist to work with our team, day shift, Monday through Friday. We are seeking individuals who are team oriented to provide outstanding customer relations and hospital staff support. Qualified candidates should be able to multi-task, be extremely organized, have strong Windows based computer skills, should demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Responsible for interacting with clients in person and on the phone and handling client concerns professionally
- Managing Multi-line phone systems
- Scheduling appointments
- Maintaining digital patient records
- Processing client payments
- Balancing cash register
- General administrative duties
- Hospital clean-up
- Maintaining confidentiality.
- Qualifications
- - Proficiency in veterinary terminology. - Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members- Ability to handle front desk responsibilities efficiently- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows operating systems. Some experience with animal restraint techniques is a plus. Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist required. Minimum Education required: High School graduate. Hospital hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday & Thursday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Candidates must be available to work openings and / or closing as needed by the hospital.
