Position Summary
DeConna Ice Cream is seeking a Freezer Order Selector to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders in a sub-zero freezer environment. This physically demanding role helps ensure frozen products are prepared correctly and delivered to customers on time and in good condition.
Qualifications and Work Conditions
- Previous experience with order picking and repacking is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in temperatures below 0 degrees; DeConna provides protective clothing.
- Strong attention to detail is important.
- Must be able to regularly lift products up to 50 lbs. and bend, stand, and move for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Read selection labels to identify slot locations.
- Confirm product descriptions and quantities required for each order.
- Pull the correct quantities of designated full-case products from assigned slot locations.
- Stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Work safely and effectively in extremely cold temperatures.
- Operate an electric pallet jack; experience is a plus.
- Be available to work some Saturdays as needed.
Compensation
Hourly pay will be discussed at the time of hire.
