Summary
DeConna Ice Cream is seeking a motivated, results-oriented professional to join our Sales team in a Business Development role. This position is responsible for signing new accounts, uncovering sales opportunities, and helping grow our business in Cordele, GA, and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate enjoys building customer relationships, pursuing new business, and supporting the continued expansion of our ice cream distribution network. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, clear communication, and effective negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Grow the customer base through targeted outreach and deal closing
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support retention and account growth
- Promote and market new products
- Cross train to provide support for Pre-Sales as needed
- Some travel and overnights may be necessary/required
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in B2B sales or a related field
- Experience in business development and marketing
- Ability to manage the sales process from cold outreach through closing
- Pre-sales experience

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
