What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Chief: Water Mitigation position at DEC Fire & Water Restoration?
Are you ready to take charge and lead a team that helps people recover from water damage disasters? We’re looking for a Crew Chief to oversee our water mitigation projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and motivate a crew in the field during water damage restoration projects
- Manage job sites, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality work
- Use industry tools and techniques for water extraction, drying, and cleanup
- Communicate with customers and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in water mitigation, restoration, or construction leadership preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a team in fast-paced, challenging environments
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Must have a clean driving record and submit to a background check
- IICRC certification a plus (but not required—we’ll help you get certified)
