Location: Beavercreek, OH
Pay Rate: Starting at $13.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm
Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Phlebotomist to support a leading healthcare organization in Beavercreek, OH. This is a great opportunity for a certified Phlebotomist who is confident performing specimen collection accurately while providing professional and compassionate service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures accurately and safely on patients of various ages.
- Verify patient identification and ensure specimens are properly collected, labeled, and handled according to established procedures.
- Prepare patients for specimen collection and explain procedures as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Follow established infection-control, safety, and specimen-handling procedures.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient service throughout the collection process.
- Perform additional phlebotomy duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1 year preferred.
- Certified Phlebotomist credential required.
- Strong venipuncture and capillary puncture skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and specimen-handling accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
