Dean's Professional Services is now hiring qualified Certified Medical Assistant in the Houston area to support both the front and back of the clinic.
Hybrid Medical Assistant Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Friday 7:30 AM - 1:30PM
Location: 1934 Caroline St., Houston, TX 77002 (Main Clinic)
Starting Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hourly (Based on experience)
Temporary to hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Room, Triage patients, taking vitals, patient history, administering injections, performing venipunctures and other screening.
- Authorize prescription refill and Instruct patients regarding medications.
- Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Perform insurance verification, authorizations, referrals, etc.
- Collect co-payments, reconcile charges and balances.
- Communicate unexpected wait times to patients.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be Certified
- 1 year of Medical Assistant, Front Desk, or related experience.
- Ability to travel to different locations as needed.
- Must have EPIC experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
