We are seeking an Event Planning Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for organizing important events from conception through completion.Responsibilities:Coordinate parties, private and corporate event activities and personnelSet up and break downs of eventsResearch successful event opportunitiesOperate and maintain stock of event supplies and concessionsTraveling for supplies, decorations, groceries, etc for an event needs is required but not often neededTake pride in every successful event and satisfied guest experienceQualifications:Previous experience in event planning or other related fields such as coordinator or admin assistantStrong project managing skillsDeadline and detail-orientedAbility to work well in teams as well as independentlyEducation:High School Diploma (minimum requirement)Licenses:Valid Driver's License preferred but not requiredHours:Part Time You will not be required to work everyday but must be available for work Monday - SundayTimes vary depending on events scheduledYou will receive upcoming week schedule week before for preparingMust be available for every scheduled event duration of events for set up until break downPay:Base pay of $10.00 hrPlus 15% Commission of net profit from every event you book and work in entiretyType Of Events:Parties (Birthdays, Wedding, Baby Shower)Corporate Meetings Religious GatheringsMotivational SpeakersArts & EntertainmentCompany DescriptionDeal Street Arts & Community Center is a medium event space for up to 50 people.
