Registered Dental Hygienist – Lexington, SC
Location: Lexington, SC
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Compensation
$42–$48/hour, based on experience
- 0–1 Year of Experience: $42/hour
- 2–5 Years of Experience: Approximately $45/hour
- Experienced Hygienists: Up to $48/hour, with some flexibility for highly qualified candidates
- Annualized Compensation: Approximately $85,176–$97,344, based on a 39-hour paid workweek (assuming a one-hour unpaid lunch Monday–Thursday)
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established dental practice in Lexington, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care
- Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures within the scope of practice
- Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings
- Take diagnostic radiographs as clinically indicated
- Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
- Review and update patient medical and dental histories
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members regarding patient treatment needs
- Follow appropriate infection control and clinical safety standards
- Create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
