The senior-level procurement professional is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating supplier agreements, optimizing total cost of ownership, and managing supplier performance to support organizational objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Lead competitive bidding activities, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Contract Negotiation
- Lead negotiations for pricing, commercial terms, service agreements, and long-term supply contracts. Establish favorable contract terms related to pricing, lead times, quality expectations, warranty provisions, service levels and payment terms.
Cost Reduction and Value Analysis
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality, service, and delivery standards.
- Partner with engineering and operations to evaluate alternative materials, components, and suppliers through value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) initiatives.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Conduct supplier performance reviews using key performance indicators (KPIs) including quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. Resolve supplier performance issues through corrective action plans and collaborative problem-solving.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of progressively responsible purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic supplier relationships.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement analytics. Epicor experience preferred.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
