Systems Administrator

Key Tasks:

• System Deployment and configuration for RHEL7/8 and SuSE Linux

• System security management using RMF and associated DoD security practices

• Deployment and testing of authentication and identity management software

• Review and define configurations

• Create automation scripts to deploy and configure assets

• Support testing & demonstration

• Provide support for

  • troubleshooting

  • patching

  • hardening

  • configuration management

• Participate in, and provide expertise for, technical interchange meetings

Required Skills:

• Linux Administration (RHEL 7/8)

• Certifications: Network /A

Desired Skills:

• DevSecOps team experience LAMP Web Services Software stack

• VMWare Server administration

• Radix/eMASS (or similar scanning tools)

• GitLab Administration

• ServiceNow Application/Systems Administration experience

• OpenSearch Cluster experience

Required Education / Certifications:

• Bachelors of Science in engineering, science, technology management or related IT field

• 7 years of experience

• Certifications: Net /A

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 100,000 to 154,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
