Infant Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary focus will be fostering developmental growth through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and compassionate care. Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development in infants
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies
• Observe and document developmental milestones, behaviors, and individual needs of each infant
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood development standards
• Adhere to mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child safety or well-being
• Support classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and social skills among infants
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations related to childcare and early childhood education

Skills

• Proven experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare center, or preschool setting
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
• Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration
• Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement techniques
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations
• Classroom management skills tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers
• Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and child supervision techniques
• Experience in behavior management strategies suitable for young children

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
