Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met or exceeded
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and use of appropriate cleaning equipment
• Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio or garden cleaning when required
• Use cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies and coordinating schedules with clients or team members

Experience

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and proper handling of cleaning detergents
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Experience working outdoors or in varied environments is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
