Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
• Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence among toddlers.
• Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, diapering, and outdoor play, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
• Use effective behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges constructively.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
• Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during all activities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs is a plus.
• Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, behavior management, and lesson planning tailored for toddlers.
