What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Products - 1st Shift - L3 position at Dayton-Phoenix Group?
The position of Mechanical Products will be responsible for fulfilling the duties required within Dept 133.
Essential qualifications for this position include:
- Must comprehend and use assembly prints/ work instructions and tolerances and wiring schematics (Standard Work)
- Must be able to perform and maintain production level at routed rate
- Mechanical ability to use hand tools and air tools
- Use measuring instruments such as mic’s, calipers, scales and other job specific gauges.
- Must have basic math skills – adding/subtracting/angles/fractions/etc.
- Ability to understand and perform setups per work instruction/process specifications
- Ability to sew
General Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to safely pick up and place up to 40 pounds
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must keep work area organized, clean and safe
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a group setting
