Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleaning and sanitation services across all areas of the facility.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards aligned with industry best practices.
• Oversee custodial operations including industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and janitorial tasks to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure high performance, adherence to safety regulations, and effective team management.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
• Enforce sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations and safety guidelines to protect staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with management to plan staffing needs, improve workflows, and enhance overall cleanliness operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong background in sanitation practices.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in commercial or institutional cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff, coordinate tasks effectively, and liaise with other departments.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in managing laundry operations or similar custodial services is preferred.
• Ability to implement cleaning & sanitation management strategies that promote a safe and hygienic environment.
