What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/Night Auditor position at Days Inn?
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests using the hotel management system
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest concerns or complaints
- Assist guests with luggage and other requests
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working at the front desk of a hotel is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and phone systems
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
