Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and report issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment when necessary for large-scale or specialized cleaning projects
- Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control and maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services preferred
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and buffing
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience highly desirable for understanding guest service standards
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
