Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Conduct floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or heavy supplies safely while adhering to proper handling protocols.
- Use cleaning equipment effectively for janitorial tasks, outdoor work when necessary, and detailed surface sanitation.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the safe use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with efficiency.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Experience with outdoor work or exterior cleaning is a plus.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and floor care methods is desirable.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience demonstrating attention to detail and reliability.
