Job Summary:
Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues.
Job Duties:
- Maintains the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guest.
- Sets up cleaning cart with supplies.
- Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls and fixtures in rooms.
- Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets. Cleans mirrors and sinks in order to have clean and sanitary guest rooms.
- Replaces towels, soaps, and all room amenities.
- Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings.
- Strips bed of all linens and remakes with fresh linens.
- Vacuums rooms and hallways.
- Inspects rooms to ensure everything is in working order and immediately alert management or maintenance .
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles.
- Ability to scrub surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guess and co-workers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
