Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our housekeeping team at Days Inn by Wyndham in Gettysburg, PA, a busy tourist destination. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Schedule:
- Shift starts at 9:00 AM and continues until all assigned rooms are completed
- Weekends and holidays are mandatory
- Flexible availability required based on occupancy and seasonal demand
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $13.00 per hour
- Tips available
- Opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities
- Vacuum, dust, and sanitize rooms and common areas
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Comfortable with long periods of standing, bending, and physical activity
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus (not required)
