Hotel Housekeeper (Full-Time / Part-Time)
SureStay Plus Hotel – Elizabethtown, PA
Overview
We are seeking 1–2 friendly, reliable, and energetic Housekeepers to join our team. This role is essential in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM start (typically finished by 3:00 PM)
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM start (typically finished by 4:00 PM)
- End times vary based on hotel occupancy and staffing levels
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
- When fully staffed, we aim to rotate weekends off among team members
** This is a physically demanding position that requires being on your feet for most of the shift.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and surfaces, following hotel standards
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and maintain cleanliness in hallways and common areas
- Restock guest room amenities and supplies
- Remove trash, dust surfaces, and complete general cleaning tasks with attention to detail
- Safely use cleaning products and equipment according to guidelines
- Maintain organization of housekeeping carts, supplies, and storage areas
- Work as part of a team to complete daily room assignments efficiently
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred (but not required—we will train the right person)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable performing physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, pushing carts)
- Good communication skills
