Sr. Structural Engineer

Step into a senior leadership role with a globally recognized consulting engineering firm as a Sr. Structural Engineer based in Daphne, AL (Mobile area preferred). This is your opportunity to lead complex, heavy structural design projects across the world for port authorities, terminal operators, and major infrastructure clients. With 25 countries served, licensure in 13 states, and a reputation for excellence in the container handling and bulk material handling industry, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team making a big impact—while positioning yourself for long-term growth and succession planning within the company.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Structural Engineer position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with a focus on structural coursework
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil/Structural Engineering required
• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy equipment or steel structure design and FEA
• Proficient in FEA and drafting software such as FEMAP, Ansys, SolidWorks 3D, RISA, AutoCAD
• Prepare complete structural design packages for container cranes, terminals, and foundation systems
• Perform site inspections, equipment assessments, and technical reviews including dynamic/static analysis
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary projects and oversee engineering standards and execution
• Must be able to travel up to 20% and climb OSHA-compliant structures up to 200 ft

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
