Classified position is announced to all qualified applicants. Applications must be submitted no later than Monday July 27, 2026 6 hours per day/168 days per year/Salary Grade 9 $23.14 per hour (2026-2027 Support Salary Table) [Promotions result in a 5% minimum increase] PLEASE NOTE: When applying for this position, please attach a paragraph (not to exceed 200 words) describing how your abilities and skills would prove to be an asset to the Early Childhood programs. GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Pre-School Special Ed Department, the Pre-Kindergarten Instructor assesses each child's needs and skills; works with parents to set goals for each child; and prepares and presents learning activities that address those goals, encourage creativity, and teach basic skills. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 1. Associates Degree in related field. 2. Food handler's permit. 3. Driver's license and own transportation. 4. First aid and CPR certification. 5. One year experience.
