Applications must be submitted no later than Friday, June 26, 2026. 8.0 Hours per day/215 days per year/Salary Grade 9 $23.14 per hour (2026-2027 Support Salary Table) *This is a Home Visiting position serving expectant families and children ages 0-3 through weekly home visits. [Promotions result in a 5% minimum increase] PLEASE NOTE: When applying for this position, please attach a paragraph (not to exceed 200 words) describing how your abilities and skills would prove to be an asset to the Early Childhood programs. GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Head Start Coordinator, the Head Start Instructor assesses each child's needs and skills; works with parents to set goals for each child; and prepares and presents learning activities that address those goals, encourage creativity, and teach basic skills. Positions available include varied duties such as teaching Pre-School, Head Start, Early Head Start, and Home Visiting. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 1. Associates Degree in related field, or current Child Development Associates (CDA) 3. Driver's license and own transportation. 5. One year experience. Spanish speaking preferred. Experience working with families with diverse needs preferred.
