Job Description: Sales Journeyman / Administrative Assistant
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales Journeyman / Administrative Assistant to support our sales team and gain hands-on training from an industry expert. Key Responsibilities:
- Test Drives: Assist in organizing and coordinating test drives for customers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Training: Participate in ongoing training to enhance your knowledge in the following areas:
- Product Knowledge: Understand the products being sold, their features, benefits, and how to effectively communicate these to customers.
- Sales Process: Learn and follow the company's sales process, from initial customer interaction to closing the sale.
- Delivery Expert: Assist in the delivery process by ensuring that customers receive their purchased products on time and in good condition.
- Customer Follow-up: Maintain communication with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and foster positive relationships.
- Data Entry: Accurately input customer information and sales data into the company's database, ensuring proper record-keeping and reporting.
- Document Quality Control: Review sales documents for accuracy and completeness before they are sent to accounting, ensuring all required paperwork is properly filled out.
- Customer Service Support: Provide general clerical support to the sales team, answer customer inquiries, and assist in resolving issues as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to work evening and Saturday hours as required.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review and verify documents for accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales or administrative role is a plus but not required.
- Customer service experience is advantageous.
