Job Description:
We are currently hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping team member. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of our Emlenton facility. The right candidate will take pride in keeping spaces clean and organized and understand the importance of supporting a recovery-focused environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, and common spaces
- Disinfect surfaces, mirrors, fixtures, and high-touch areas
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and spot-clean as needed
- Remove and replace linens; ensure bedding is clean, fresh, and neatly arranged
- Restock towels, washcloths, paper products, and hygiene supplies
- Collect and empty trash throughout the facility
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
- Use carts and cleaning supplies safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff
- Follow cleaning checklists and infection control procedures
- Perform other cleaning or facility support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience is helpful but not required
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Dependability and punctuality
- A respectful attitude toward clients and coworkers
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a treatment-focused environment
