Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, therapy spaces, and communal areas in accordance with facility protocols
- Perform daily sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure compliance with infection control and sanitation standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and hand sanitizer in restrooms and common areas
- Launder bedding, towels, and other linens; ensure timely distribution of clean items and removal of soiled laundry
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged furnishings promptly to the appropriate staff
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning products and equipment in accordance with training and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and order in supply storage areas and ensure proper inventory levels of cleaning materials
- Support the preparation and cleaning of rooms for new patient admissions and discharges
- Collaborate respectfully with clinical and support staff to maintain a welcoming, organized, and recovery-focused environment
- Assist in deep cleaning projects or emergency cleanups as assigned
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient privacy and dignity during cleaning routines
- Uphold professional behavior and standards while working in a sensitive, therapeutic environment
- Preferred experience in a housekeeping role in a detox or residential addiction treatment facility
