DaVinci’s is looking for an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our Front of House team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll set the tone for their entire dining experience. A friendly smile, a positive attitude, and great communication skills will make you an essential part of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Manage seating arrangements to ensure efficient guest flow
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist during busy hours
- Provide accurate wait-time estimates to guests
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or general inquiries
- Keep the host stand and entrance area clean and organized
- Communicate clearly with servers and management to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and courteously
- Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems or reservation platforms a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and attention to detail
- Team player with a passion for hospitality
