Shop Foreman – Ford Service Department
Location: Davidson Ford Inc., Watertown, NY
Full-Time | Competitive Salary Performance Bonuses
Pay range: $70k -$110k, depending on experience, production & efficiency bonuses
Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Davidson Ford Inc., a trusted and high-performing dealership in Watertown, NY, is looking for a skilled Shop Foreman to lead our service technician team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician or current foreman who wants to take the next step in their career and contribute to the continued success of one of the region’s top Ford service departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and manage technician workflow for maximum shop efficiency
- Provide hands-on technical and diagnostic support to technicians
- Perform quality control inspections on completed work
- Assist Service Advisors with repair estimates and customer communication
- Mentor apprentice and entry-level technicians through the Davidson Ford Apprentice Program
- Monitor performance metrics including flag hours, productivity, and shop efficiency
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Requirements:
- 5 years of automotive technician experience (Ford experience preferred)
- Ford Senior Master Technician status is a strong plus
- Previous experience as a shop foreman or team lead highly desirable
- Strong diagnostics and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
