Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Paralegal to assist in our real estate, probate, and/or estate planning practice areas. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and able to manage files with minimal oversight. Experience in at least one of these practice areas is preferred, but a suitable candidate will be trained. All inquiries will be kept strictly confidential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize documents for real estate transactions, including deeds, closing documents, and correspondence.
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Willing to train inexperienced candidates on this.
- Prepare probate filings and track case deadlines.
- Communicate directly with clients, lenders, title companies, and court personnel.
- Draft professional letters and maintain organized client files.
- Provide general administrative and case support to the attorney.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage files and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Professional, client-focused demeanor.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $22 per hour
- Paid time off (PTO)
