Position Summary:
The Front Desk Manager oversees all front desk operations and staff, providing leadership and guidance. This role is responsible for ensuring that front desk procedures are followed accurately and consistently. The manager will oversee patient collections based on verified benefits, maintain accuracy in front desk workflows, and support the team in delivering efficient, high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical front desk management, billing, and insurance processes, as well as proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the front desk team in all daily operations.
- Manage front desk scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
- Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and corrective actions.
- Assist with insurance, billing, and front desk process-related questions or escalations.
- Ensure accuracy in patient registration, insurance verification, and billing information.
- Resolve patient service issues and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Continuously improve front desk processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
- Be available during business hours to support team needs and questions.
- Cover front desk shifts when necessary (e.g., during sick calls or absences).
- Manage office supply ordering and inventory for the front desk area.
- Participate in leadership meetings and effectively communicate updates to the team.
- Collaborate with leadership to uphold organizational goals and ensure alignment across departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
