Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or Applied Machine Learning, with a proven track record of building operational tools and data-driven solutions.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including:
DAX
Power Query (M)
Data modeling
Performance tuning
Experience integrating enterprise systems such as LMS, HRIS, scheduling platforms, ERP systems, or similar applications.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling, including both normalized and analytics/star schemas.
Experience building data pipelines using Python and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, dbt, or similar technologies.
Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including modern data services.
Expertise in dashboard design and storytelling for executive audiences, including paginated reporting.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong stakeholder communication skills.
Experience with scheduling optimization and workforce planning, including ILP/CP models, heuristics, or rules-based systems.
Experience with LMS integrations such as Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Docebo, or similar platforms.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
Power Automate
Advanced knowledge of:
DAX and Power Query (M)
Custom visuals
Power BI REST API
Row-level security (RLS)
Experience in data warehousing, performance optimization, and automation.
Microsoft Certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power Platform App Maker).
Experience supporting training/learning operations or field operations environments preferred.
Responsibilities:
Role Overview
Lead the transformation of a manual, Excel-based facilitator scheduling process into a scalable, rules-driven platform. This role will build live LMS integrations, develop executive dashboards, and establish a unified facilitator intelligence system covering qualifications, utilization, and performance metrics.
Own and manage the Power BI and Power Platform ecosystem, including dashboards, paginated reports, data models, governance, and user enablement to support operational and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Platform Ownership
Design and implement scalable, rules-based scheduling and analytics solutions.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and enterprise data models.
Build and manage LMS integrations and automated data pipelines.
Establish governance, performance optimization, and automation standards across the Power BI and Power Platform stack.
Create unified facilitator intelligence profiles integrating multiple data sources.
Agile Product & Delivery Responsibilities
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Delivery Teams, and Product Managers during Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning and Program Increment (PI) Planning.
Translate product roadmaps into actionable and prioritized product backlogs.
Own and prioritize the team backlog.
Define, refine, and accept user stories aligned with business outcomes.
Support release planning and sprint execution in partnership with Product Management.
Ensure alignment across Epics, Features, and User Stories.
Drive value-based delivery through strong collaboration with delivery and product teams.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product capabilities and solutions.
Mentor junior Product Owners and promote Agile best practices.

Vision
Roadmap
Release Plan
Sprint Plan
Day Plan
Develop understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems and support Technical Product Owners with alignment and direction.
