We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Agent to play a key role in delivering exceptional performance and reliability across data centre and mission critical facilities. This hybrid position combines strategic oversight with practical execution in the field.

🔎 What You’ll Do

• Own the mechanical commissioning process from planning through field execution and handover.
• Conduct functional testing of mechanical systems, develop inspection protocols, and ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including test results and issue tracking logs.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to support project delivery excellence.

🏁 What You Bring

• Degree in mechanical, HVAC, or related engineering discipline — or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience (typically 2 years) in mechanical commissioning, construction, or operations — ideally in data centre or mission critical environments.
• Solid technical understanding of mechanical plant, HVAC systems, piping, air handling, and controls.
• Strong communicator with the ability to adapt between field work and team collaboration.
• Willingness to work in Austin full time or work on rotation basis (TBD).

✨ Nice to Have

• Mechanical commissioning credentials or industry certifications.
• Experience with QA/QC protocols, performance testing, and documentation systems.
• A safety-first mindset and dedication to quality outcomes.

• 💼 Hourly rate: $60 - $75 DOE
