DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Identity Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.
Job Description:
This role supports the modernization of enterprise IT systems, focusing on secure, scalable, and compliant cloud-based collaboration technologies within a global environment.
This position combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering responsibilities, driving enterprise initiatives across Microsoft 365, identity management, and digital workplace transformation while ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 Platform Leadership: Oversee architecture, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
Program & Project Delivery: Lead enterprise initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and global delivery requirements.
Digital Workplace Innovation: Support the adoption of AI-driven tools and automation capabilities, enhancing productivity while maintaining governance and compliance.
Collaboration Platforms Management: Drive strategy and governance for Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform solutions, ensuring scalability and adherence to enterprise standards.
Security & Identity Governance: Implement and maintain identity, access, and security controls aligned with Zero Trust principles and regulatory requirements.
Operations & Support: Provide advanced support for complex cloud and identity-related issues, ensuring platform reliability and performance.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with global stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
• 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft 365 engineering, cloud infrastructure, or identity management
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive)
• Experience with Entra ID and identity/access management solutions
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security best practices
• Experience delivering enterprise IT projects in global or regulated environments
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills
• Experience with Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall project methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools, automation, or Copilot technologies
• Background in governance, documentation, and enterprise standards development
• Experience leading distributed or global teams
