We are currently supporting a global middle-market M&A advisor on a hire in their Industrials M&A team in Chicago.
Our client is an international investment bank whi provide independent advice on M&A, debt raising, and financial restructurings worldwide. Their Industrials group advises clients across a broad range of subsectors, including capital goods, industrial services, aerospace & defense, chemicals and materials.
The Associate will play a central role in the execution of live transactions while working closely with senior bankers and clients in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute M&A transactions and strategic advisory assignments across the industrials sector
- Lead day-to-day transaction workstreams and coordinate junior team members
- Prepare and review financial models, valuation analyses, marketing materials, and client presentations
- Conduct industry and company research, including analysis of market trends and strategic positioning
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, counterparties, and external advisors
- Support business development initiatives, including pitch preparation and idea generation
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant investment banking experience, with exposure to M&A transactions
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Interest in the industrials sector
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
