Corporate Development Manager
Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA (Remote)
Base: $135,000 – $145,000 20% Bonus
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a private equity-backed, mid-market services platform undergoing significant growth through an active M&A strategy. The business operates across technology-enabled services and is executing a multi-pronged roll-up strategy to scale its platform.
This is a newly built-out Corporate Development team with strong deal flow (7–8 transactions annually) and direct exposure to senior leadership and investors.
The Role
This is a highly execution-focused Corporate Development role, ideal for candidates looking to move from investment banking into a hands-on buy-side environment.
You will play a key role in supporting and driving acquisitions across the platform — owning models, coordinating diligence, and helping get deals across the finish line.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities
- Partner with internal finance leadership to assess deal economics
- Lead and coordinate due diligence workstreams across internal stakeholders and external advisors (legal, accounting, etc.)
- Manage multiple deals concurrently and support end-to-end execution
- Prepare investment materials and support senior decision-making
- Work closely with leadership on integration planning and deal closing
This is a true execution role — minimal sourcing, focused on delivering deals
What We’re Looking For
- ~4–6 years of experience, ideally from:
- Investment Banking (preferred)
- Transaction Advisory / Big 4 Deals
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience working on middle-market transactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in a long-term path in Corporate Development (execution-focused)
Environment
- PE-backed, high-growth services platform with an active acquisition strategy
- Lean team, high visibility, and direct exposure to senior leadership
- Opportunity to work on 7–8 deals annually across multiple verticals
- Strong focus on collaboration with finance and operating teams
Salary : $135,000 - $145,000
