The Department of Neurology is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join our inpatient neurology team.
This position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH. DHMC is New Hampshire’s only Level 1 trauma center and serves over 2 million people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. DHMC was named New Hampshire’s Best Hospital (2025-2026) by U.S. News & World Report.

Overview
- Inpatient position
- Four 10-hour days; Friday-Monday
- Manage acute neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and complex neurological presentations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary services for coordinated care
- Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate
- Ability to obtain/maintain licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont
- At least two years of clinical neurology experience
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
