Cognitive Neurology NP or PA

Overview

The Department of Neurology is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join our cognitive neurology team.

This position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH. DHMC is New Hampshire’s only Level 1 trauma center and serves over 2 million people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. DHMC was named New Hampshire’s Best Hospital (2025-2026) by U.S. News & World Report.

Overview:

• Outpatient position with flexible scheduling
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Collaborate with other APPs, neurologists, fellows, residents, and medical students
• Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College

Requirements:

• At least two years of cognitive experience
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate
• Ability to obtain/maintain licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont
• Demonstrated interest in neurology
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
