Dartmouth Building Supply is seeking a professional, hardworking individual to join our Millwork team as Millwork Quote Specialist to assist inside and outside sales by providing product quotes for millwork category sales, including interior finish, windows and doors. Utilities vendor software and our back-office system to enter quotes and maintain electronic files. Stays current with product knowledge to be a resident expert in these product categories.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Responds to inside and outside sale calls and emails regarding product selection, requests for prices and quotations, product knowledge and submittal packages.

2. Inputs customer quotes, pricing information and additional data into the computer system using margins assigned my management for each project.

3. Imports order detail from estimating and vendor software such as window and door suppliers.

4. Coordinates with purchasing of special millwork category products. Obtains customer sign offs and confirmations on submittals of details of special-order products.

5. Places purchase orders for special order materials, checks vendor acknowledgments and follows up to ensure timely delivery to jobsites.

6. Follows up backorders and reviews open orders daily to keep jobsites current with needed materials.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–2 years in the building materials industry required.
• Skills: Proficient in computers, calculators, and multitasking.
• Software: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Communication: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge: Familiar with shipping, delivery, and inventory control.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift materials and assist with order handling. Must lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Professionalism: Maintains appropriate dress and appearance.

Base Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
