Job Summary
Brief Description of Position: Provides instructional services as a long-term substitute teacher for English Language Development (ELD) students in grades K–8, or a combination thereof, based on the operational needs and absence of the permanent ELD teacher. Delivers standards-based instruction, supports English learner progress, maintains a positive learning environment, and assists with other school programs and duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Credential: Valid ELD teaching credential as required by California law, CLAD certificate required Education: Bachelor’s degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements. Experience: Successful completion of 1 verifiable year of elementary teaching. May include student teaching, substitute teaching, classroom experience, or any combination thereof.
