Job Summary
Position Summary Under the direction of the Executive Director and Associate Director, the English Language Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the ELD program, helping staff become more proficient at ELD strategies, and all Title III compliance. This role also includes ELD instruction in a TK-8 setting. The ELD Coordinator collaborates with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students meet state standards and achieve academic success.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications At least five years of ELD teaching and/or program leadership experience OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred) Teaching credential, multiple subject or English single subject. English Learner Authorization (e.g., CLAD, BCLAD, or equivalent) Bilingual (preferred)
