Extended School Year - Instructional Assistant

- Danvers Public Schools is seeking an Extended School Year - Instructional Assistant for the ESY program. This is a non-benefited, part-time seasonal position for the 2026 summer. This is a Monday-through-Thursday program, running from July 6, 2026, to August 6, 2026
Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our team during the Extended School Year Program (ESY) for students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the special education teacher/related service providers in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students to reinforce learning and facilitate progress.
- Help with the development and implementation of behavioral support plans.
- Assist in the management of classroom behavior and promote positive behavior through reinforcement techniques.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to special education teachers/related service providers regarding academic and behavioral performance.
