What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician- 2nd Shift position at Danfoss?
- Perform compressor testing activities, including installation/removal, equipment setup, and executing tests according to formal Test Request Forms (TRFs).
- Maintain accurate test logs and organize test data to support engineering analysis and project documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, supporting installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
- Coordinate work with contractors, ensure safety compliance, and maintain a clean, safe, well-organized lab environment.
- Experience in industrial maintenance (5 years) with strong ability to troubleshoot and work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics, with fundamental computer knowledge (Windows/MS Office).
- Comfort working independently and taking ownership of assigned equipment and tasks.
- Flexibility to work the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) and support alternative shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
