Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead shift start meetings and assign employees to appropriate work daily to address changing workloads.
• Ensure safe work practices and report safety incidents (near misses, incidents, recordables).
• Performs minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Drive and consistently demonstrate 5S.
• Operates equipment according to Safety and Quality guidelines with the expectation that the Team Leader will be fully trained and signed off at every operation within their area.
• Provide technical assistance to operators as necessary.
• Provide coaching and counseling to improve performance and support positive employee relations.

Background & Skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum 1-year warehouse work experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Position Criteria

• Repeatedly lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Extensive walking, standing, bending, stooping.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking work environment and prioritize workload accordingly.
• Must have the ability to interact positively with others within the department and across the organization.
• Self-motivated and able to self-direct.
• Ability to manage cultural change.
